The Orla do Guaíba in Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul, a state in the southern region of Brazil, although it had been a park in the state capital for a long time, it was little frequented due to its state of conservation and poor infrastructure. However, in recent years the place has undergone a major transformation and revitalization, which has attracted a large part of the population of Rio Grande do Sul to attend the place as a leisure area. It is common to see the Orla do Guaíba, especially at the height of the Centro Cultural Usina do Gasômetro, which is very busy. In a few days it's even crowded, you might say.<br /><br />The Park is divided into 4 sections:<br /><br />1) Section 1 of Orla do Guaíba is the place where many families go to have fun on the weekends.<br /><br />Stretch that goes from Usina do Gasômetro to Rotula das Cuias. It is filled with benches overlooking Lake Guaíba, taps with hot water for typical and traditional chimarrão. This stretch has bars and restaurants, in addition to the statue of the singer Elis Regina.<br /><br />There is a popular space to watch the beautiful sunset.<br /><br />In this area there are also outdoor gyms, street artists playing music and street vendors.<br /><br />2) Section 2 that starts at Rotula das Cuias and progresses to the multi-sport courts.
