Nobody touched the Goethe monument. Or that Soviet people burned books by Goethe and Schiller, I also did not find.<br /><br />But the Germans liked to demolish monuments during the WW2. The first thing they did was to destroy the memory. By the hands of local nationalists.<br /><br />The demolition of monuments and the burning of Russian-language books is already commonplace in modern Ukraine.<br /><br />And remember - not every Jew is a Zionist, not even every ethnic Jew is a Judaist. Does ethnic background make someone less of a human?
