Save Your Eyeballs from Blue Light with Redshift
Tired of having your retinas burned out when using your computer at night? Dim the blue light and add an orange-tinted filter to your screen with redshift. If you're using a window manager, you'll have to set it up yourself. I'll show you how you can install and configure redshift to automatically dim the blue lights for you. Now even if you have no impulse control like me and are on your computer right before you sleep, you can save your eyes and get to sleep a little easier with redshift.

Redshift GitHub: https://github.com/jonls/redshift
Redshift Arch Wiki page: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Redshift
My website: https://ericmurphy.xyz/

0:00 Why use redshift?
2:17 Installing redshift
2:36 Basic usage
4:08 Adding a config file
5:13 Automatic geolocation
8:12 Screen flickering
8:40 Starting redshift with systemd
9:14 Conclusion
...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe-SbqNmPSQ
