Each year, hundreds of diplomatic, political and business leaders gather for this ball, which is one of the highlights of the Toronto season. The balls raises over $100,000 per year for the benefit of orphaned children. Similarly, we also gather annully for our White Christmas Dinner, to raise additional funds for the same cause.<br /><br />In Year 2013 and 2012, we expanded our efforts to not only help orphans, but also children who are underprivileged. Our fundraising Gala was directed at such underprivileged children in Afghanistan, Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Slovakia.<br /><br />Year 2010 marked the Polish Orphans Charity's 10th anniversary Ball Pologne, subtitled, "Without Borders". Widening the scope and raising the bar again, we direct our fundraising efforts towards helping orphaned children in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Ukraine.<br /><br />In 2009, the Charity Ball Pologne dedicated its aid to the children of Afghanistan to help overcome the many obstacles they face in this war-torn country.
