There is nothing quite like riding in heavy winds and snow, and watching the resort shut down the lifts all around you. We got last laps on many of the chairs as they started closing the lifts one by one after we got off.<br /><br />February has been a great month for Stevens Pass with tons of snowfall. With a base deeper than it has been in about 20 years, the snow has been a ton of fun to play in.<br />----------------<br />Please enjoy the outdoors responsibly. The cat has been let out of the bag for many of these wonderful places, and it is now our responsibility to take care of these areas and not destroy them. While we are sharing the location (I don’t really want to, but the internet already has these locations readily available), our goal is to educate on ways to minimize impact. Follow Leave No Trace principles when you go outdoors, and if a trailhead is packed, then find somewhere else to go.
