They draw on math, progressive and alternative rock to create an inviting and inventive sound full of gritty riffs and disjointed rhythms. Never shy of mixing genres up, elements of jazz, funk and fusion mingle together, reminiscent of bands like The Mars Volta, Fall of Troy, Arcane Roots and The JCQ.<br /><br />They released their debut EP 'In Uniform We Divide' in November of 2013. Recorded by Mark Morrow of The Winter Tradition it captures the musical progression of the band in the last year and a half, taking influences from The Mars Volta, Arcane Roots and The JCQ and stylistically draws elements from math, progressive and alternative rock. Derealisation is an alteration in the perception or experience of the external world so that it seems unreal. Sufferers often describe the sensation of derealisation as being in a dream-like state where the environment seems unreal, foggy or hazy. The tilt shifted lens on the camera is used to make everything blurry and out of focus, while the colours further distort the images. Both song and video link together to give it an extra layer of meaning to the viewer. <br /><br />The video was shot in an old government building in the centre of Edinburgh, that is now being used as a space for creative arts. Whilst shooting in the room we just had one stage light providing light.
