This is a Charleston dance routine taught in a Burlesque Cardiff workshop on 5th July 2009. <br />Originating from Black American jazz and tap dance; the 1920's version of The Charleston is upright and cute. In 1930's a more gritty dance emerged, a lower style which was which turned into lindy hop, both could be a partner dances.
