YouTube Shorts The Chosen is now in Season 3, and while many Christians love the show, and await the release of each season and episode, Dallas Jenkins (creator and director) has said that Mormons, Catholics, and Protestant Christians "love the same Jesus." In addition to this, the show regularly adds in characters and changes the basic facts in popular Bible stories. At times, they even change quotes from Jesus found in the Gospels! Not to mention the fact that 3 of the executive producers are Mormons, and one of them said publicly that they AVOID THEOLOGY in the show. Moreover, it appears to me that the character of Jesus is intentionally altered in order to make him more relatable and emotional, in order to connect with the audience better.<br /><br />As they say, "the book is better than the movie!" Please read your BIBLES!
