All of the ballads on ***“Lovelife”*** are rooted in the hazy dream pop of the early '90s, but they are given stylish, mod arrangements complete with muted brass.<br />><br />> ***“Lush”*** had completed touring for the year and was on break when ***Chris Acland***, suffering from depression, had unexpectedly hung himself in his parent's home on October 17, 1996.
