Waffle AK-74M/101 Magazine (30rd): Laffs Dynamics<br /><br />Waffle patterned 3DP dual caliber AK platform magazine, for use in AKs chambered in 5.45x39, or 5.56x45 NATO. Caliber changes are <br />quick via swapping out the follower. Floorplate, baseplate, locking tab, and magazine body are the same between calibers. <br /><br />Has the same strong separately printed locking tab used in the ProxyMag, Waco Waffle, and Slabslav series of Laffs Dynamics AK magazines. <br /><br /><br />Weapons Tested In: <br /><br />1x WBP Mini Jack 5.56 AK Pistol (Polish Import)<br />1x PSAK-74 AK Rifle (American Production)<br /><br /><br /><br />Basic Print Settings:<br /><br />Filament Used: PLA+<br /><br />Print Settings:<br /><br />Extruder: 218C - 220C<br />Bed: 56C - 60C<br />First Layer Print Height: .2mm <br />Standard Layer Height: .16mm (.12mm for the Follower & Locking Tab)<br />Wall Thickness: .40 <br />Wall Perimeters: 8<br />Infill: 80%+<br />Support Material Percentage: 18%<br /><br /><br /><br />Hardware: <br /><br />1x Original AK-74 mag spring, Beryl mag spring, or listed compatible mag spring. (See Notes)<br /><br />Epoxy or Clear Gorilla Glue<br /><br /><br /><br />Parts Installation:<br /><br />1) Apply cyanoacrylate adhesive inside the pocket for the rear locking lug. If the rear locking lug is slightly loose <br />in the pocket, apply Clear Gorilla Glue. Wait 24hrs for the adhesive to cure. <br /><br />2) Insert the rear locking lug, with the angled facet facing outwards, and down towards the mag body's base. <br /><br />3) Lightly sand the anti-friction follower's sides and curved spine. <br /><br />4) Slide the top of the magazine spring through the front of the follower, above the spring retention tab.<br /><br />5) Attach the floorplate to the bottom of the magazine spring, making sure the first spring winding snaps over the <br />retainers. <br /><br />6) Slide the internal spring assembly into the magazine body.<br /><br />7) Depress the floorplate, and slide on the baseplate. The floorplate's locking tab must index with the channel in the <br />baseplate. <br /><br /><br /><br />Notes: <br /><br />1) Polish Beryl, WBP- 5.56/223, Promag AK-74, and Wolff mag springs are compatible with this magazine.
