On Friday May 24, 2019 peaceful activists blocked the street outside 2013 Ridge Avenue demanding accountability from the Philadelphia Housing Authority. Traffic had been redirected when suddenly a front end loader sped down the street straight into the crowd, pushing several protestors. The Philadelphia police watched and did not intervene. This is why we continue to demand justice for those PHA is supposed to serve and the larger community of North Philadelphia.
