Happy Birthday World Wide Web! New Google Search Console Updates
Bonus!

Today is March 12, 2019. It is the internets birthday!

Everyone and jump up and be happy because I am.

The internet is my boss, and I have to get out of bed early to make these videos.

I do not want to show up late to the office and explain to the internet why I am late to work.

Make sure you celebrate the internet, tweet, share it, and scream because the internet is responsible for all of our success in this modern Era.

Hi, I am Mike Zima.

I am an SEO Expert and expat based in Mallorca, Spain.

Today, I am going to talk about a little email you may have received from Google Search Console.

This email is basically telling us that Google installed a new feature on your site.

What this feature is: it’s consolidating all the different versions of your URL.

Wait!

What does that mean?

If you ever went to a website and type in WWW or NON-WWW to get to the website.

Or whatever.

It redirects you to the final link.

That final link is what Google is looking at and sees as your primary site.

Sometimes you have a WWW site, and you move over to a NON-WWW site, and you have a conflicting view.

When you set up different versions of Google Search Console or previously, Google Webmaster tools, you have data in two different places, and it makes reporting a nightmare.

Google has allowed a webmaster to verify all of their versions.

If you have subdomains.

If you moved over to from HTTP and you were lazy about HTTPS to have that ranking boost.

These are all consolidated into one single report.

The only caveat is your webmaster has to claim it using the DNS tools.

When you claim Google Search Console from DNS.

Google will scan the different versions of your URLs, subdomains, and put all that data into one neat and tidy package.

Now you can take advantage of Google Search Console.

Have all of your data in one place.

Google is telling what keywords you need to optimize for; that’s where the data is, and that’s how you optimize for SEO.

Take advantage of this useful feature from Google Search Console today. If you have any question about implementing this or you are curious about Google Search Console some more.

Leave some questions in the comments below. I will get back to you soon.

In the meantime, please subscribe with the buttons floating around here somewhere.

I look forward to making a video.

Here are some helpful links about us:

Website: https://zimamedia.com/
https://www.facebook.com/zimamediallc
https://twitter.com/Zima_media
https://www.instagram.com/zimamedia/
https://www.linkedin.com/company/zima...
https://twitter.com/michaelzima
https://www.instagram.com/mikedzima/
...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv4zZuu_Dgw
