Stag Convenience Corner, a local gas station and car wash, was demolished for Chase Bank! Let’s see what it looked like when it was abandoned! *BURNED CAR WASH*<br /><br />The building for this Stag Convenience Corner location was built in 1987, the same year that James R. Fleenor founded Stag Enterprises. At the time of editing, it’s unclear if this station was built as Stag Convenience Corner or if another station occupied the space until Stag opened. In 1996, a car wash was built directly behind of the station, followed by a 2004 expansion to the main store building.<br /><br />It closed in the early to mid 2010s, around the same time James Fleenor died, passing away November 17th 2014 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. In 2018, plans were submitted for Pizza Hut to replace the store portion of the station, likely with plans to relocate from the existing Pizza Hut on Yellowstone, but plans fell through. In 2021, Chase Bank submitted plans for a second Cheyenne location, and they coalesced; the station was demolished around the end of March/start of April and is set to be replaced by Chase Bank.<br /><br />✍️ I bet there is at least one retail establishment you love!
