Right off the rip, the game hits you with that grim dystopian vibe: world’s gone to hell, checkpoint ops are barely hanging on, and it’s my job to inspect survivors for infection. No pressure, right?”<br /><br />“I started poking around, trying to get my bearings, figuring out who's infected based on symptoms like red eyes, bruises, bloody mouths, and all sorts of gnarly details. Some folks looked fine at first—until I scanned them and realized they were a day away from turning full-on zombie. Others were clearly trying to sneak past me with sketchy symptoms or hidden bites, and yeah... I sent a few to ‘special processing.’ R.I.P.”<br /><br />“The mechanics are kinda wild. You’re balancing inspections, managing quarantine zones, keeping supplies stocked, and yeah... there’s base building, drifting a supply cart like it’s Tokyo Drift: Apocalypse Edition, and drone airstrikes when the hordes roll in. It's got Papers Please energy but with zombies, explosions, and a ton of stress. Oh—and if you screw up, people die. No redos.”<br /><br />“It gets chaotic fast, especially when you're juggling tools like UV flashlights, thermometers, and heartbeat scanners while trying to decide whether someone's ‘just tired’ or one sneeze away from ripping someone's throat out.”<br /><br />“Long story short: I tried to play God, probably doomed a few innocent people, definitely liquidated some real threats, and somehow still made bank. No clue if I did a good job—but it was a hell of a ride.
