In the lowest floor of the Snow Cave, you’ll find a treasure chest containing some Silver armor. There is something standing by the wall, and if you interact with it, this turns out to be an Adamantoise. During the battle, the Adamantoise has a hard shell, so most physical attacks will have a hard time battering it. Ice spells have an advantage, and if you are lucky enough to find an item called the Antarctic Wind in one of the other chests inside the cave, use it to bring down the Adamantoise almost instantly.
