One of my favorite things to do since I throw pretty light tackle ( 8lbs Spider Wire EZ mono in this case) is to throw what I consider a mini swim jig. Get a Strike King Bitsy Flip (not the bitsy bug..bitsy FLIP...has a muuuuch bigger hook.) pair the Bitsy Flip with a small swimbait/paddletail or curlytail grub or worm..even a small craw, and just CRAWL that bad boy on the bottom.
