Anderson acquired this beer from Amon Amarth's own Olavi Mikkonen while on tour this fall. He was kind enough to share it with me, so I am thankful to able to try this European exclusive release from Bitburger. This Dortmunder lager comes in at 5.5% ABV and poured a beautiful amber color with a healthy, frothy white head. This was opaque and you could see some yeast floaters throughout. The nose was malty sweetness and not much more. This was medium bodied and smooth, with malty sweetness giving way to lightly bitter hops to finish. I think this collab worked out brilliantly, and although it is likely we ever see this beer again in Ohio, it was good and we would both drink another!
