Nowadays something as simple as humor and speech is politics, simply because there's other people trying to police and control it. <br /><br />For a lot of us, Gamergate was the starting point of our political activism, thus giving birth to the meme: "I just wanted to play video games!"<br /><br />You can say you don't care about politics. But politics is gonna care about you.<br /><br />When I was in high school, nobody called themselves a feminist. Nowdays 12-year olds are protesting the wage gap, even though it's a myth. Pewdiepie himself even adressed this in a video, proving that you can be political without being 'typically' political. <br /><br />After all, politics runs downstream from culture and we are all part of culture. We are creating culture together simply by living in the same society. By acting, or choosing not to act, when shaping our daily lives together. We are all affected by each other and thus by politics.
