What species are they or what animal?<br /><br />Wakko, Yakko, Dot from Animaniacs. What are they exactly? What species are they? What animal or animals?<br /><br />Are they a dog or a cat, or a rabbit? Maybe, they are monkeys. That’s what the Dr. Scratchansniff said, stating in The Monkey Song over and over again, “I don't know what to say the monkeys won't do!”<br /><br />But, eventually Wakko, Yakko, and Dot said, “We're not monkeys; we're just cuckoo!”<br /><br />But, it turns out they are officially not those things. According to mental floss, the Warner Brothers and the Warner sister are proposed by producer, Tom Ruegger, to be drawn like the cartoon characters in the 1930s. Mental floss says, <br /><br />“He proposed a group of siblings drawn in an animation style reminiscent of anthropomorphized animal characters from the 1930s, and called them the Warner Brothers.
