After weeks of devastating forest fires destroying more than 2 million acres of forestland and towns, the rains have returned to Oregon. During this time, state parks, forests and waterways have been closed to the public for safety. Smoke filled the Willamette Valley. For more than a week, the daytime air around the valley was a dingy orange.
