Hello there friends! I had this idea for water in the desert. I live in Eastern Washington. Though we have tons of agriculture we are actually a desert. I had gone out by George Washington. There is a place called Ancient Lakes. There are these little lakes all over the place but to get to them you drive through all this farm land. It gets to the other side of the irrigation canal and desert. It is really cool how its really flat with the long vistas and then this water that just kind pops up. If you have ever seen “The Palouse” its kind of the same but not as lush. That trip was the inspiration for this painting. I hope you enjoy. <br /><br />Thanks for watching.
