Here an Echidna waddles around our house a little while ago. <br />I have always thought of Echidnas as representing protection (with all their spikes) & they seem very sensitive.<br />We have so much to learn from the Animals & Birds around us!<br />Today I honour & Bless them all & thank Mother Earth for the gift of every one (even snakes!)<br /><br />Here is the Spiritual Meaning attributed to Echidnas:<br />"The echidna totem teaches one that it is important to keeping track of matters close to the heart: such as one's home, relatives, neighbors and to strive to make one's life successful and serene.
