Hola from Ecuador! As some of you may know, I have not been well for some time, so we have set up a GoFundMe to help with legal and medical expenses. We finally have some diagnoses, and all are treatable, but well beyond our means at the time. We have already spent a small fortune on dentists and doctors, including two surgeries that failed that need to be repeated. I am in urgent need of living bone cell injections due to severe osteoporosis and periodontal. This will hopefully ensure that the surgeries will work this time, as the gums will have something to reattach to. I also have fatty liver, and chronic lung inflammation due to my previous career as a glazier, when I routinely inhaled tiny particles of glass. <br />On top of this, we have significant legal fees, late fees, and taxes to pay on inherited property, the sale if which would give us the money to invest in our businesses and relocate back to the United States, or Peru. If we fall behind, there are more fees, and worse, the sale of the property is delayed. <br />Our final reason for hoping to raise this money is that our last source of income, this Youtube channel (Adsense is not paying us due to a technical issue, so our Patrons are our heroes right now!). Our camera is cracked and is not a camera (it's a phone) and our Chromebook cannot handle editing software, so we are in desperate need of upgrading our gear. <br />While I have been very proud of our ability to crashland in a foreign country and improvise a living these last few years, the COVID crisis, my health, and the legal expenses have rendered us basically stranded in a foreign country with almost no income.
