Use only U.S. specification, name-brand, factory new ammunition.<br /><br />On this trip we ended up putting 85 to 90 rounds through the Double Tap (some was off-camera), for a grand total of 100 to 105 through this gun so far. With the ammo change came 100% reliability with no barrel jams or stuck cases, except for with reloads. That said, primers still look crazy: <a href="https://www.box.com/s/xbuf8dq360t91yyg7ttk" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.box.com/s/xbuf8dq360t91yyg7ttk</a> <br /><br />Five gun shop employees and one customer helped me get through all of these test rounds, which was most definitely necessary! Only two other people were willing to put more than 6 rounds through the gun. Seems like you shoot two and think, "wow, that thing kicks!" and then shoot two more and think, "I'm going to stop doing this now." I know I seemed like a huge wuss in this video, but my hand was already sore/bruised from shooting 3 days ago... as soon as I gripped the pistol in my hand I could feel that it was tender, and the first round fired let me know that this was going to be a pretty brutal outing. I'd encourage anybody to shoot 50 rounds through this thing in one sitting w/out gloves and describe how they're holding up. After 25 or so it was literally feeling like putting my palm up against a wall and smacking my hand right in the web of my thumb right against the inside of that middle thumb knuckle with a ball peen hammer.
