I was early to bitcoin and one of the most bullish people I know on crypto long term. I think it will have a profound impact on the world and change power structures, for the better.<br /><br />With that out of the way, I need to dish out some hard truth to all the crypto hodlers out there: bitcoin on its own is not going to save you.<br /><br />Neither will massive inflows of cash.<br /><br />I see too many people noticing that something is very wrong in the world and pegging all their hopes onto crypto, or onto making a ton of money. Crypto is a great capital preservation tool but capital is worthless if there is nobody around who will accept it for anything.<br /><br />The hyper-capitalisation of our society is coming to an end and unfortunately this will affect crypto wealth too.<br /><br />The people orchestrating the mass societal changes we observe are above money and capital. They are about POWER. And the harder you chase money, you will find, the more you get sucked into the game they want you to play.<br /><br />You're trying to make enough money to get out of the matrix but the harder you work the more you become part of the very thing you're trying to escape.<br /><br />The real solution, is, well, real. It's in the real world. Getting back to the land, reducing your material consumption, getting closer to your food and water sources. Humans need 5 things to survive:<br /><br />- Food<br />- Water<br />- Air<br />- Shelter<br />- Other humans<br /><br />If you don't have all of these mostly under your own direct control you are fragile even if you have $100M in the bank. Getting these basics nailed down should be your main area of focus for the rest of this year and the next. Start now while you still have time.
