OKMEE Solar Water Fountain Pump
OKMEE Solar Water Fountain Pump
https://youtu.be/yeTMQcrpEwQ

More Info and Purchase: https://tinyurl.com/yjry3hsd
30% Discount Code: VDAMZ3SM

Blog:
https://marcoscucom.wordpress.com/2021/05/15/okmee-solar-water-fountain-pump/

I have tried quite a few solar water pumps in the past and most worked OK in bright sunlight they all went off when the sun went in and came with small and easily lost spray nozzles. Both these issues are dealt with quite effectively with this new £28.99 rather more upmarket model from OKMEE.

Unlike the no-name cheapo rivals, this solar fountain cam in a robust and nicely designed branded product box inside of was the fountain itself, two spray heads (one prefitted), 2 suction mounts, a length of plastic twine, two replacement filters, and a well written and easy to understand user guide. Although not what you could call heavy-duty, this device feels a distinct step upwards from the cheaper rivals and does not have the throwaway feel of the others and hopefully should be able to last more than just the summer. Build quality feels good with nothing appearing too flimsy or cheaply made for sustained use.

Most of the low-end fountains offer spray pattern choices by means of small replacement nozzles, often ill-fitting and always easy to lose. This model takes a different approach by offering two adjustable heads each offering a selection of fountain spray options, just twist the head to select a pattern. Remove the head altogether for a smooth flow of bubbling water. An option I have not seen on the cheap rivals is a sliding switch on the underside of the unit to select different spray heights, handy to prevent overspill on sunny days as this model can pump a spray up to 90cm. Perhaps the main difference between this and the other is the inclusion of a 2000mAH rechargeable battery which allows the pump to continue in operation when the sun goes in for several hours. On the front of the unit is a large and easily monitored LED which is solid red when the battery is fully charged, flashes red when the battery is not charging or is low and goes off at night or when the battery is fully depleted. This means that the fountain should keep on working all summer long, even on overcast days or when the sun goes in.

Also included are a pair of suction mounts and some twine which can be used to secure the fountain in place and prevent it from floating away from the selected area. There are also two spare mesh filters that can be used to swiftly replace the installed one should it become blocked and need cleaning.

Although still by no means expensive this new style floating water fountain is a real step forward from the old-style models and means that even here in the UK we can have a solar-powered fountain in our gardens.

Music: YouTube Audio Library: Patrick Patrikios: Voices
...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeTMQcrpEwQ
