Here we show an overview of how to make a cockpit simulator or a button box, that can be used as an ordinary controller for any game, but is specialized for Elite Dangerous. The main components are two arduinos, a node red server, and lots and lots of wires.<br /><br />As the cockpit design project grows, I see the need for an overview of the main components, to get an understanding of how to structure your thinking around it in case you want to build your own spaceship simulator.
