I have been so excited to start this series! When I first met Ron, I knew he was a kindred spirit. I was getting ready to go on stage for my first professional presentation. It was the main stage at the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show… I was nervous, to say the least! Ron was my rock star. he calmed me down and said, "Just talk about what you do, man!" After my talk, he said “Hey you are going to come do my pond some day!” I was excited… before long I was having dinner with Him and his wife. Ron had taken on a huge pond for his 1st pond and for being a home owner. He did so many things well, and it helped him increase his love for water features! <br /><br />We talked for hours and had a lovely steak dinner. I still remember thinking how awesome my job is that someone would treat us like this for just a meeting. Ron & Bev are special people, and it was apparent from the first meeting. We talked about options and what we could do with what they had. The stars just weren’t aligned then for us to work together. We would see Ron for the next few years at the home and garden show. I loved it! We would hug every time and get caught up, talking, forgetting we were there to meet new clients. <br /><br />Then, last year out of the blue, I got a text from Ron… Say can you come over again and look at my pond? I think we are going to take on this challenge and get back to our paradise. Ron told me how you can lose track of time in their backyard, listening to the pond, and chatting about life. I know it to be true, having done this for so long. They wanted to create this for their children and grandchildren. They wanted to recreate their paradise, and they called us to help! What an incredible honor to be called back to something so important! <br /><br />We talked about options, and they had been watching our YouTube channel. They saw that we can make something large enough to jump in, swim in, and snorkel in. We talked about the big dream! This was their vision, and if they could have what they wanted, it would be this huge custom pond. After some time to digest all the options, they decided to use their savings to make their home the paradise they had been saving for!<br /><br />Thank you for joining us for Episode number 153, project number 22 of 2021, part 2 of 5!
