Chaconne in F minor (PWC 43, T. 206) by Johann Pachelbel (arr. Kurt Redel)<br /><br />Pachelbel composed at least six chaconnes (short work for variation on a repeated progression) for organ. It is unclear when Pachelbel composed these chaconnes, however it was likely in the latter stages of his life after 1690 while living in Germany.<br /><br />The work is one of the more popular compositions of Pachelbel, and it has been adapted for various musical ensembles.<br />
