Stabilisation of video clips is possible and the analysis of the video is automatic, done when you import or when you have the clip in the time line. <br />Cut the video into the small sections that need to been worked on rather than use a range selection and use the settings over on the right hand side of the app in the stabilisation panel. You can also do rolling shutter correction in FCPX.<br /><br />The video will come out quite blurred if you set it too high or the video is very shakey and too much for the Final Cut Pro X Mac video editing software to do a good job on. Not going to be as good as using a tripod or other method of hold the camera steady but can be useful when you want that shot and you don't have time to set up the tripod.
