I put my tips and tricks to use in this video. I used needle nose pliers to bend the hooks slightly away from the body of the frog. The gap was about 1/16” so it is still weedless but is easier for the fish to get into the hooks. The terminator walking from Jr. has smaller hooks than other frogs to it is important to do this. It increased my hookup ratio from 1 out of 8 to 3 out of 6. Great improvement. <br /><br />The heavier rod I used made it a lot more comfortable setting the hook and gave me the extra umph needed to horse them out of the thick stuff.<br /><br />Learning with yall was a lot of fun for me.
