Installing Java SDK and TextPad:<br /><br />TextPad is Windows only.<br /><br />Note / full disclosure:<br />* Using TextPad because this is the recommended editor for Java courses I teach.<br />And it is super fast, simple, light weight, it does everything I need for the majority of my projects, and I like it !<br /><br /><br />Installation: 3 Steps<br /><br />1. Download latest Java SE: Java SDK (software development kit)<br /><a href="https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html</a><br /><br />Run the installer, follow the prompts.<br /><br />2.
