Christianity and insomnia have gone hand in hand in my battle with a general anxiety disorder, phobias, and most prevalently, a social anxiety disorder, all of which I discuss in this week’s video for #mentalhealthawarenessweek! <br /><br /><br />Sorry, I know this video is a long one but I had a lot to say on this subject! I feel weirdly defensive about admitting to my mental health difficulties, but I hope y’all understand. And I wanted to specify that when it comes to physical effects of anxiety, my whole life I’ve had crippling massive mouth ulcers that come as a direct result of not getting enough sleep or going through something that really triggers my anxiety. I often can barely eat or talk when I get them, so that’s been a big physical effect of my anxiety, but there’s loads more.
