That old saying, "All that glitters is not gold" is the point of this video. There IS gold in the fractals but also reds, greens, blues and violets, which are very hard to see when gold is present. Why that old saying was ever said, is because when there is even a little gold among other colors, it out glitters the other colors. Did you know you have to have gold to make anything glitter? Even if you cannot see the gold it must be there to make something glitter. Sometimes jewelry has only 5% gold and the rest is copper or brass. Not copper and brass are shiny but not as precious as gold. These metals are used along with nickel to strengthen gold because it is so soft, if only gold were used, your ring would literally wear thin.
