This is a review of my EVS R4 neck brace in the adult size. EVS were founded in 1985.<br />This particular neck brace is probably the most budget orientated of the serious neck braces and is the reason I chose it. I could not afford the price of other neck braces, the R4 was a 1/3 of the price and has done a great job so far.<br />As a dual sporter I do not really need a more expensive flashier neck brace than this, as my skills are basic and I wanted an entry level and good neck brace to start with.<br />The only niggle you might have with this neck brace is that the surface scuffs easily, leaving marks.<br /><br />The EVS R4 opens at the front with a push button and red velcro tab, you then slide in, clip it back together and then do up the harness. <br /><br />Does it do the job? Yes it does, must have crashed at least 5 times in it and never had a sore neck injury since. So if you are in the market for a neck brace but don't want to spend your life savings, but you still require decent protection, I would recommend the EVS R4.
