Having a Roadside a BBQ? Leave No Trace & Reduce Your Impact
It's easy to reduce your impact on the wonderful outdoors!

Simply familiarise yourself with, and abide by the 7 Principals of LEAVE NO TRACE for Outdoor Ethics, also known as Leave No Trace or LNT.

The easiest way to put it though, is "if you carried it in, you can carry it out" and "leave it as you found it" - Remember these two important statements and you'll find yourself well on the way to being an LNT Superstar!

#lnt #leavenotrace #reduceyourimpact

1. Plan ahead and prepare: Research the area you plan to visit, know the regulations and special concerns for the area and plan accordingly.

2. Travel and camp on durable surfaces: Stick to designated trails and camp in designated areas to minimise impact on the natural environment.

3. Dispose of waste properly: Pack it in, pack it out. Carry out all rubbish, leftover food, and litter.

4. Leave what you find: Leave natural and cultural features as you found them for others to enjoy.

5. Minimise campfire impact: Use a stove for cooking and enjoy a candle lantern instead of building a fire.

6. Respect wildlife: Observe wildlife from a distance, do not feed them, and store food securely to avoid attracting animals to your campsite.

7. Be considerate of other visitors: Yield to other hikers on the trail, keep noise levels down, and be respectful of other campers.
...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbZR35VOE8w
