Plan ahead and prepare: Research the area you plan to visit, know the regulations and special concerns for the area and plan accordingly.<br /><br />2. Travel and camp on durable surfaces: Stick to designated trails and camp in designated areas to minimise impact on the natural environment.<br /><br />3. Dispose of waste properly: Pack it in, pack it out. Carry out all rubbish, leftover food, and litter.<br /><br />4. Leave what you find: Leave natural and cultural features as you found them for others to enjoy.<br /><br />5. Minimise campfire impact: Use a stove for cooking and enjoy a candle lantern instead of building a fire.<br /><br />6. Respect wildlife: Observe wildlife from a distance, do not feed them, and store food securely to avoid attracting animals to your campsite.<br /><br />7.
