Critically, the game has been extremely highly praised, with things like the rendering of the world and its gameplay being cited as examples of excellence in gaming. Many players, however, have other opinions about it. Will the game live up to the hype?<br /><br />Controls are mostly as they were in the first game. Movement is with the left thumbstick, panning perspective is with the right thumbstick. L1 aims an equipped weapon; R1 fires while aiming, but reloads when *not* aiming. L2 makes a character sprint, and R2 makes them listen carefully (and crouch automatically). The place is now a thriving community, with regular patrols to keep it safe. After Joel and Tommy leave on patrol one morning, Ellie wakes up late from a bit of drinking the night before. She and her close friend, Dina, prepare their own patrol. Everybody, however, has their own motives, and not everyone shares the community's positive outlook on the future. For some, there is only one way forward, and that may mean sacrifices that cut to the core.
