This week, Star Wars announced that the NEXT feature film will be The Mandalorian and Grogu. Many speculated, for months, that Season 4 was going to be turned into a movie. Well folks, there is more to the story. The same scoopers with their inside information are now reporting that The Mandalorian and Grogu will NOT be the next part of the story. In fact, we are going to receive a shortened season 4 for The Mandalorian on Disney+. The Star Wars story will continue during season 4, and then it will culminate with the Mandalorian and Grogu movie. Wait! That's not all. If all things go well, the Mandalorian and Grogu movie will be the first of a new Star Wars trilogy that will be helmed by none other than Jon Favreau. <br /><br />This is quite the kneejerk and panicked reaction coming from Kathleen Kennedy, Bob Iger, and Lucasfilm.
