My name is Arystan Kabytai-uly, and I am a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The reason of my appeal is that my nephew Smagul Kusmanbek-uly disappeared for about 2 years, and we can't get any information about him. He is from Zhemissaral county, Sanji prefecture, Xinjiang, China. He was arrested on the 30th of September in 2017 without any evidence blames by Chinese officials. Since then we haven't got any information about him, and we don't know if he is alive or dead. That's why I am appealing to the President of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, UN Human Rights Committee to help us to find out about my nephew Smagul Kusmanbek-uly and to release him as soon as possible.
