Sometimes looks can be deceiving. I have purchased MANY used Saito engines but I have never had one in this bad of a condition before. The ad said turns over with compression. Nothing could be further from the truth. List of conditons/issues with this engine.<br />- Locked up, does not turn over at all.<br />- Both valves were stuck down, and thus could never have compression.<br />- Timing gear was stuck and unable to be moved, thus the engine would never turn over.<br />- Piston ring fully compressed and stuck, again a cause for no compression.<br />- Bad bearings but I expected that.<br />- Carb frozen and throttle barrel would not move.<br />- Most difficult time I have ever had in removing a prop hub.
