The relation between IMF and Ripple is not unseen. The signs are all around us but we overlook them. This time Universe Twenty did the job for us and provided the proof that the IMF is definitely going to use XRP. He shared the screenshot from a document that has been on IMF’s website since 2018.<br />The document was also shared on many platforms but nobody took notice of it until the allocation of SDRs and the rumor that XRP will be used by the IMF. And now this document is a proof of all this.<br />It is a presentation by Ripple and XRP to the International Monetary Fund and it was presented by Sagar Sarbhai, head of Regulatory Relations for APAC and Middle East at Ripple. It starts with Ripple Transforming Global Payments, enabling the internet of value. This document presents the plan on how ripple wants to change the global cross border payments game. This was presented to IMF and knowing no other company better than ripple, IMF started working on that.<br />The whole presentation shows that how Ripple can change and work for the betterment of cross border payments. It even says XRP itself fits the use-case of cross-border payments, and there is a severe need for a system in place that allowed banks to use it. Ripple talked about its infrastructure innovation, Opportunities & Engagement Model for Pacific Island Nations.<br />Here Ripple is presenting the regulatory policy and engagement. First, there is Bank of England, Accelerator Program Ripple selected to inform the next generation of RTGS or real-time gross settlement payment infrastructure, Federal Reserve: Faster Payments. Ripple was selected to serve on the Steering Committee of this industry strategic initiative. Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority Infrastructure innovation partnership for financial institutions to leverage Ripple for cross-border payments. Now comes the thing we are looking for, International Monetary Fund. Ripple was selected to serve on the IMF’s High Level Advisory Group on Fintech.<br />It shows that IMF is consulting Ripple on payments and like we have already discussed in the previous videos, if we take a look at IMF and Ripple’s history, IMF has been trying hard to make Ripple technology adopted by the central banks and other financial institutions. IMF has been seen doing this in many meetings like SWELL or the Swiss National Bank conference. Experts were already of the view that the IMF will say each Ripple coin is worth say 100-1000, and then send this to governments or banks worldwide. This will be instant liquidity. The IMF can just simply use XRP and rename it as SDR.
