Lionel Roosemont and his family live in Belgium with their 20-year-old daughter Tikvah. She has a significant brain condition she’s had from birth. They say that when they are out with their daughter, people who they do not know approach them and ask them “why they don’t euthanise that child.” Tikvah is a joy to her family and is deserving of her life regardless what anyone else thinks.
