Firing up the trackball and blasting away in Centipede at the arcade. This one’s a true golden age classic from Atari, first hitting arcades in 1981. Fun fact: it was one of the first arcade games designed by a woman, Dona Bailey, and it became one of the top-grossing arcade titles of its era. Today, I’m diving back into the field, dodging fleas, spiders, and scorpions while trying to keep the centipede from reaching the bottom. Fast, frantic, and still ridiculously addictive after all these years.
