In this #shorts I go over the type 3 failure drill. <br /><br />A type 3 failure is a failure to extract. hopefully, this failure to extract is just a bad rim on a cartridge and not a failed extractor. <br /><br />Follow this drill to deal with type 3 failures. While historically we have been told to rack our slide several times, new training suggests that you only need to rack once with a new mag inserted.
