Thus We imagine a kind of “think tank” with white boards and all that. These folks could maybe be space aliens, or mutated humans, or both working in conjunction. <br /><br />“How about another flood?”<br />“We didn’t do that,” says the alien CEO. “That was a once in 432,000 year phenomenon and we don’t have that long.”<br />“War!” Shouts another of the melanin deficient in the lecture hall.<br />“War’s no good. Haven’t you noticed how the population rises after every war?”<br />“Natural disasters. Earthquakes and tsunamis,” another speaks up with ghoulish enthusiasm.<br />He is escorted out.<br />Then a human, looking eerily like a cross between Bill Clinton and Bill Gates, rises, “Maybe,” he says in an disarming Muppety southern draw. “We can convince one group to kill themselves and another group to not reproduce.”<br />The alien heads began to bubble like oatmeal. A hum could be heard throughout the room. Alien whispering, we supposed. <br />“Brilliant!” exclaims the alien CEO. <br /><br />This, my friends is why all roads lead to human depopulation. Less income means smaller families. Less nutritious food leads to poor health and early death. Vaccines that sterilize females and reduce the sperm count & testosterone in males. Same sex marriages. Mandatory shots against imaginary viruses and climate changes. Violent television shows. Addiction. Euthanasia. Various types of abuse. Dismantling of family units and friendships. And of course, there are still wars.<br /><br />You’ll like today’s episode. Gotta get to the next one.
