July 30, 2021: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis tells a crowd and the news media that the State will not now, or in the future, impose any “mask mandates” or “lockdowns” in direct opposition to the most recent edicts from the Biden White House and CDC. DeSantis, citing a major study from Brown University, provided factual evidence that mask mandates have very little overall effectiveness in reducing viral transmission.
