On my 2nd solo, I do something very stupid and go around the traffic pattern in a right direction instead of left. I've flown here tons and never went right. Crazy thing is, I didn't even realize what I had done until the next day!! I'm thankful there was only one other plane around that day. This could have been really bad... Sorry Levi :) <br /><br />Flying a 1967 Piper Cherokee 180. PA-28-180 (Garmin 430, Narco nav/com, Insight G2 engine monitor, S-TEC 40 auto pilot, Uavonix skybeacon ADS-B out, Sentry ADS-B in)<br /><br />I bought the plane before I ever had a single hour of flight instruction.... How could that possibly not go wrong.... Join me as I get my license and try not to destroy the plane or kill anyone in the process!<br /><br />Bought the plane off Craigslist after several months of searching. It had everything I wanted and more (auto pilot!!! woo hoo!). I then realized that I have never been on the controls of an airplane and probably should take some lessons... <br /><br />I took 2 lessons before flying to Oshkosh to pick her (Betty) up and flew (with a very qualified cfi) all the way back to Tampa Florida! We got grounded by bad weather once and made it just before a major thunderstorm hit the airport... whew!!!
