Once you reach the summit of the Doom Castle, you’ll have a showdown against the Dark King. When the Dark King swings its cane, it always lands a critical hit. Its iron nails that scratch opponents lower their defense stats. If it unleashes sparks, it reduces a fighter’s magic power. When it gazes at a fighter, it induces paralysis. After damaging it quarterly, its next form makes it wield swords, which can cause elemental damage involving fire, ice, and darkness. It swings an axe that triggers an earthquake, damaging both your fighters. If it shoots an arrow, it not only damages a fighter, but restores its own health. Damage it quarterly again and its next form will take the shape of a tarantula. As a tarantula, the Dark King will fire lasers or summon a barrage of smaller spiders. If it casts a silver web, it has a chance of confusing or poisoning the target. A golden web can petrify the target, so have some Heal Potions to nullify that. Mega flares and whites will damage both your fighters at one. Damage the Dark King quarterly once more and it will change its form into the shape of a medusa. Its final form will use the same moves as it used in its previous form.
