BTC broke through a key level of support at $18,700 briefly on Sunday, dropping to a new 3-month low. Both BTC and ETHer have been losing ground over the past week. In the last seven days, BTC has lost 17%, and ETHer has fallen 24%. Both fell 8% on Sunday.<br /><br />On exchanges $439 million has been liquidated in the past 24 hours, 87%, were long positions. ETHer leads liquidations, followed by BTC.<br /><br />The market’s bearish price action is likely linked to the Fed’s expected rate hike on Wednesday.
