In this video I make eight different compounds starting with hexachloroplatinic acid that was freed from residual HNO3 and HCl that remained from dissolving the platinum in aqua regia. Starting from this I make several hexachloroplatinates, platinum tetraiodide, platinum sponge/platinum black, platinum disulfide, dipotassium hexathiocyanatoplatinum(VI), and platinum triselenide.
